WINNING GOAL: Leo Reise.

NOTEWORTHY: This result blocked Toronto from attempting a fourth straight Stanley Cup.

DATE: April 9, 1964 @ Montreal

SCORE: Leafs 3, Canadiens 1

WINNING GOAL: Dave Keon

NOTEWORTHY:  Crafty Leaf centre Keon had a hat trick in the game.

DATE: April 26, 1976 @ Philadelphia

SCORE: Flyers 7, Leafs 3

WINNING GOAL: Ross Lonsberry

NOTEWORTHY: Toronto’s first Game 7 loss to an expansion team.

DATE: April 29, 1978 @ Nassau, Long Island

SCORE: Leafs 2, Islanders 1 OT

WINNING GOAL: Lanny McDonald

NOTEWORTHY: Leafs were missing all-star defenceman Borje Salming (eye injury).
