SCORE: Red Wings 1, Leafs 0 OT

WINNING GOAL: Leo Reise.

NOTEWORTHY: This result blocked Toronto from attempting a fourth straight Stanley Cup.


DATE: April 9, 1964 @ Montreal

SCORE: Leafs 3, Canadiens 1

WINNING GOAL: Dave Keon

NOTEWORTHY:  Crafty Leaf centre Keon had a hat trick in the game.

NOTEWORTHY: Toronto’s first Game 7 loss to an expansion team.

WINNING GOAL: Lanny McDonald

NOTEWORTHY: This began three straight series for the Leafs that all went seven games.

WINNING GOAL: Patrice Bergeron

NOTEWORTHY: Leafs led 4-1 with 11 minutes to play, one of the greatest collapses in playoff history.


DATE: May 31, 2021 @ Toronto

SCORE: Canadiens 3, Leafs 1

WINNING GOAL: Corey Perry

NOTEWORTHY: Leafs had a 3-1 series’ lead against a team  that finished 17 points behind them.
